THE HEART OF THE WORK
Finding Solace in Shared Struggles
My writing delves into deeply evocative fiction and poetry, focusing on psychological confinement, internal struggle, and the journey of healing from fear and emotional pain.
When you finish one of my stories, my goal is for you to experience emotional liberation—moving from a place of confinement toward genuine healing, hope, and the understanding that you are never alone in the quiet hours.

What keeps us tethered when the world moves too fast, sounds too loud, and feels too heavy?
In Quiet Anchors, poetry becomes a lifeline. This deeply reflective collection explores the neurodivergent experience—navigating sensory overload, masking, internal storms, and the fierce, quiet resilience required to exist in a world not built for your mind.
These poems honor the weights we carry and the small, steady anchors we rely on to keep from drifting away. Raw, validating, and profoundly human, Quiet Anchors is a safe harbor for anyone who processes life differently, reminding you that your pauses, your hyper-focus, and your quiet struggles are valid—and you don't have to weather the noise alone.

The Borrowed Window from Quiet Anchors
The Borrowed Window
I wish I could borrow a window to view
The marvelous things that are waiting for you,
To look at the shadows, the light, and the sky
Through the wonderful lens of your wandering eye.
To see how the everyday magic appears
Before it is dulled by the passing of years,
Where ordinary corners turn castles and kings,
And simple grass blades hold the secret of wings.
I want to know how the tall giants look
When standing beside your favorite book,
And how the grand world can feel boundless and wide,
With so much to find and so much to confide.
Though time will move onward and change how we see,
And distance the child that you happen to be,
I carry your vision tucked safe in my heart—
A bright, open window that never can part.
